We are a company headquartered in Scotland, with offices in Houston, Texas. DBA24hrs was founded originally to carry out remote database services for multiple international clients.  We still maintian out remote support services as a mainstay of our business model allowing us to experience what DBAs have issues with and incorporating that into our toolsets.

While our background is in remote services, DBA24Hrs released DBLaunch, our in-house toolset, in 2006 and which has been developing further with each new customer that purchases the tool. Our philosophy is that if it can be automated it should be in DBLaunch. If you do something today that you repeat daily, monthly etc let us know and we will incorporate it into DBLaunch.

We have been fortunate to take some of our in-house tools and deploy them globally within some major companies in the world and with the feedback and enhancement requests from our customers we have built cutting edge products and technologies.

DBA24Hrs main focus in the coming years is to be the major innovating company in the database market.  We have already demonstrated this with the release of DBLaunch and its 360 degrees of database automation.

When released at the SQL PASS 2006 conference in Seattle, Washington, DBA24hrs received praise from PASS board members on innovating a new product to which there is no comparison on the marketplace today. When shown at the the SQL Connections conference in Nov 2007 DBLaunch won the best in show for SQL Server products.

Our future includes incorporating additional cutting edge technologies into DBLaunch which will make the day to day life of a database administrator much more enjoyable and release them from the mundane and repetitive tasks that no one likes to do. 

DBLaunch and our other toolsets are designed by DBAs for DBAs, and created into new products with our in-house programming staff who are dedicated to giving DBAs tools they really want to use.

DBA24hrs has a strong consulting base of SQL Server DBAs each having a minimum of 10 years experience in SQL Server ensuring you have a Senior DBA is helping with your environment. Our consultants bring not only knowledge and best practices but they also bring a wealth of scripts for your enviroment to automate, streamline and tune your databases where needed. We specialize in performing health checks on you current SQL Servers looking for security and performance issues which we can resolve as part of the process as required.
